Matanzas

It was the Thursday of the 2nd week and we were beginning to get a bit bored with Varadero and our All-Inclusive. The weather although mostly sunny and hot was a little blustery and un-settled which made relaxin on the beach out of bounds. Too windy basically!

My friends sons had made alot of friends with fellow teenagers in the resort and we could safely leave them on the resort why we travelled out looking for hot young chicas. If they could be found. In fact one of his sons was now on his second girlfriend, oh to be young and good-looking again.

As we sat round the pool we were debating if to head into Havana or Matanzas for an overnight stay. Already having been to Havana, this was a dead cert. I knew there was so much more shagging to be done there. More than i could handle. But Matanzas was also an attractive proposition. In the end we decided to stop off at Matanzas first and if it did not yield to us we would then carry onto Havana.

We changed up some money at the hotel, ate some Pizza and then ordered a taxi from reception. The time being about 5:30pm.

Note: Changing money; at the hotel we could only use credit cards and not debit cards. The card cannot be american based. The conversion was approx 1.55 CUC to £1. On top of this you then have to pay approx 12% charge - cuban tax. For Americans its 20% approx. You would then have pay you credit card charge on top of this and with getting cash on a credit card you begin to pay interest from day 1. So the exchange rate is not that good really.
At the banks you can use your debit card but still pay the 12% charge. From our hotel a return trip to the bank in Varadero would be approx 30 CUC so not worth it.

Our taxi was 50CUC to Matanzas. A nice Mecedez car. Took under an hour and he dropped us off in the main square called 'Parque Libertad'. Had to show this to the taxi driver on a piece of paper for him to 'comprendhi' his english not so good, but passable.

My first impressions was it was a bit quieter than i was expecting, the time getting on for 7pm, probably too early for cubans. We entered a huge colonial building that had obviously seen better days that had a small bar in the middle and lots of empty tables in front.
Ordered a couple of cans of beer, no spirits on sale in here. I said to my friend i did not feel good about the place, in terms of meeting chicas, he was forever the optimistic.
Before we sat down a 'Jinetero' came up to us, and said he knew the taxi driver who had just dropped us off and he could get us some Chicas! My friend "Told u so!"

My first impressions of the 'Jinetero' not so good either. Obviously they are more interested in what they can get from you rather than what they can get for you.
Well we brought him a beer and he sat with us. Immediately he began to raise our expectations about the night ahead in Matanzas.

He began to tell us about a disco that opened at 10pm where we would be swamped by hot chicas. model looks, hot lesbians etc, threesomes! My friend believed every word of it.
So by now we had resigned ourselves to stay in Matanzas. We had 3 hours to kill before the diso opened.
He said he would make some phone calls and bring some girls over. But soon we would need to rent a Casa else there will be none left. He came back from the phone and said it was not working.

We then went for a walk through the streets to rent a casa. The first had just been taken by a russian couple, we carried on. Passed a few hot girls but he seemed to ignore them.
We arrived at a casa that had some rooms free. 25CUC per night. They were nice inside, although i do not think i could rent these out long term. We had already told the jineteros that we were probably going to be up for a threesome each tonight. The lady said could only bring one girl back. We raised the price to 35CUC and she then agreed. But one girl would have to leave early as she did not want her neighbours talking.

The Jineteros had already told us that it would be an all night thing with the girls. That compared to Varadero we were in for a treat and we would be straight back to Matanzas. Well if that was true i would have expected to see more tourists around.

We still had an hour and half to kill back in the cafe and not much to do but sit around and wait.

We then headed for the disco, cannot remember the name of it, but had to walk over a big bridge and then down. Once we arrived a few young girls hanging about outside. Once inside it was mostly empty. Oh well it was early still and he told us, they wont start coming until about 11pm.
The disco mostly had an open roof and here we could drink a couple of Vodkas for a livener, all the time him ordering himself one. He then introduced us to his brother who joined us and was also then helping himself to drinks.

A russian guy in the disco was then joined by the three girls sitting outside. I said "Oh great, we get his family, he gets the girls"
The jineteros told us that he had been conned into paying for the girls to come in at 5CUC each as they do not have to pay. Well 5CUC must be a weeks wages out here.

I told my friend i was going to wait until 12:30am else i was going to head back to Varadero. A few people arrived but nothing like what he said. Around the 12 oclock mark the three girls joined our table and i got chattin to one a mulatto( half cast or mixed race ) apparently over 50% of the population.
She had a good body and average face - not bad around 18 or so. My friend hooked up with a real good looking latin girl. At 12:30 the jineteros said ok head back to the Casa now, of which we agreed. The disco was a little dissapointing, these were the only girls in there. Situations like these, I really liked to be spoilt for choice.

At the casa the girls did not have their ID cards, this was something the Jineteros had guaranteed to us. We had to drive to the girls apartments to get their IDs. Back at the Casa we got down to business. My one wanted 40CUC and for me to put it on the side. This was not a good sign.

The sex was not bad, but she smelt a little, more a strong food smell, so this was a little off putting. When we finished i was still under the impression she was going to stay. But she wanted to go.
My friend finished around the same time and was also dissapointed that his one wanted to leave. They took their money and left.
My friend for an extra 10CUC had anal and she seemed to be very experienced at this. We decided not too stay and the Casa owner rang us a taxi.
40CUC back to Varadero.

An eventful night. If i had not stopped over in Matanzas I would have always wondered about the place. But there really aint much happening there. At least not that night. But if you hook up with a Jineteros he will be able to introduce you to some women. But just try not to fall for all his bullshit.

Unfortunately i decided not to risk taking my camera with me that night and missed some great pics.
