Batam Indonesia

Im in Batam now. Ferry pretty straight-forward 30S$ return to and from Singapore. The journey was not much longer than 1 hour. Had done some research on this place hence why i was heading here. Also very easy to add another country to your list if you are in Singapore. The Nayoga Entertainment District(NED) is supposed to be the Batam entertaiment centre of this Indonesian island. A special economic zone setup to do business with Singapore. Also weekend destination for male Singaporeans who dont want to pay Singapore prices.

At the ferry checkin they weighed my bag at 17.5 KG, so only 2.5KG over. Being positive about the check in girl asking for 3000B is she did not want me to leave Thailand well now i know i can safely upgrade to 20KG and buy some souvenirs too. Joy!

A 7 day visa issued on arrival 10S$. Staying at the Goodway hotel, just opposite the main cluster of bars known as the Nayoga Entertainment District. 50S$ for 4*. I just booked at the ferry terminal when arrived.

Lots of luxury. Just had a hot bath with oils and i 'hom dee' Thai for 'smell good'. So hopefully there are some Batam ladies in for a treat tonight.

Wandered into the Nayoga that afternoon. All the bars there do western meals. And the food was very good. The bars are mostly empty during the day. The only girls are the ones working the bar and selling the drinks. But these can be quite friendly. The NED area seems to have a bunch of bald headed Scottish expats, that you keep bumping into in each bar. But they seem ok.

Ok heading to Lucys Oars now.

Well its very cheap here. I suppose that is its main attraction. Girl all night 300,000R. One hundred pounds here and you are a millionaire. It is also definitely third world, reminds me of Cambodia. Jakarta even cheaper supposedly.

A few girls in Lucy's Oars, very friendly, a couple hot. Where else can you see a good selection of girls? But not many people around. Seems im a new face in town. Not hit the epi-centre of girls yet. Maybe tonight.

Gonna stay here a few days after which im not sure. One thing coming on these little excursions makes you appreciate Thailand more. The NED does not compete on entertainment value, but yet to sample the girls proper.
Wonder what there is to do in the day round here?

Other than sitting in an empty bar and drink and shoot some pool.

Bananas
Connected to Lucy's upstairs is Banana's, Batams only Gogo. The girls are friendly enough and so are the people around. Went on a bit of a pub crawl last night eventually took a girl back but was a bit drunk to cum so let her go early. Most bars have a few free-lancers(FL)in them.

Teamed up with a guy from Belgium on my last night and in Bananas there was a guy sitting at the front paying each girl to stroll up and down showing there lovely little pussies. Returning to Singapore today. Spend another night there and today decide on what I will do tomorrow - return to Bangkok and then my old favorite Pattaya or fly to Angeles Philippines. Batam is worth a visit but again just does not compete with Thailand, it interesting though.

I will come back to Indonesia though - and explore it more. The girls here are really friendly and better figures. Most seem to have come from Java to work here.
Bali is being frequently recommended, also has a great beach. Batam is also a good staging post for exploring deeper into Indonesia. It has its own airport and the hotel can book internal flights with Garuda. Maybe i should have stayed in the Holiday Inn on the coast for a night or two and sampled whats on offer there.

Ferry Stopped
On the return to Singapore, the police stopped the ferry and boarded, machine guns and all. Checked all the obvious Muslims bags etc. Not a problem there with the Muslims, just lots of friendly smiles.
