The worm is turning
Well last night went out with my new attitude - walking down South Pattaya road to walking street noticed a cute girl in a beer bar had to look back but continued. Then stopped in a gogo with a show on. Another cute girl sits besides me. A very fierce looking Thai then gets on stage with a long spear like metal pole and invites me to join him on stage - I decline so did everyone else in the audience - he then had to get off coz no one would get up - too scary.

I leave there and into Secrets. Very lively in here and begin to notice some nice looking girls. Mamasan welcomes me as I take a perch on a vacant stool at the bar.

Secrets is a nice enough bar but to describe it as a go-go is incorrect. The place does well but seems to cater for the newbie or nervous Pattaya visitor. Providing room food drink and girls under one roof is a good business plan and it seems that they are charging well for it.

I notice one girl who has that look that does it for me. She comes over and very sweet, English not bad and I buy her a drink. Her name is Yim, new too secrets been there 3 days.

Well BF is 1000 Baht before midnight, after which it is reduced to 400 Baht. I really like this girl, I mean really like her. This is the price for the dancing girls, the hostesses its 400 Baht all night. I did not devise the pricing here, but it makes business sense.

I enjoyed the atmosphere in here, alot more maturer crowd and there was free food on offer as it was a regular customers birthday so it was party night and I was in party mood.

Every so often the lovely little Yim had to go off to dance and when she made her way back, customers were trying to chat to her.

I had to strike while the iron was hot, it was over 2 hours until midnight and the prospect of gaining 600 baht verses losing a hot little number did not equate. So bar fine her I did.

She want to go see a movie - so we take a baht bus to the new cinema complex on second road.

I want to watch Rambo 4 but she already seen most of the films so we watch a silly film about street dancers. But I enjoyed her company in there and we were kissing in the back row. This girl was really affectionate, I was in need of some of this type of attention. Its not just receiving, sometimes you really need to give some too, and she really seemed to like it.

Back at the hotel, We just cuddle up and fall asleep, very affectionate girl, just what I needed. In fact she reminds me alot of my old Thai 'girlfriend' who for me was 1 in million. Could Yim be her replacement? she is only 22.
Previously she had a Dutch boyfriend who visited her regularly and then wanted to marry her, but she not want to.

These girls are not looking for a ticket straight out of Thailand anymore through marrying a middle aged farang. No some of them are onto a good thing now, making a load of money and buying all the shoes and handbags to their hearts content. But are they really content with this consumerism now ravaging their culture, or are they just being temporarily distracted from their real needs?

In the morning we awake entwined about 9am, where we make love. There was no need to get out the KY jelly if you know what I mean ;-)

Again we fall asleep until 12 noon. And iv just sent her home with 2000 baht. So there could be a wedding and I would like you all to be my guests.

Honey trap
No, a newbie could easily have made the mistake of letting himself fall for a girl like Yim, being nice and sweet, looking and smelling good just comes natural to her. I suspect already she probably has sponsors. Been there, done that! Its almost a honey trap, the hunter becoming the hunted. So even though you have found a girl you really feel you want to develop a relationship with, if you know whats good for, then you wont. Not in a place like Pattaya. If you are looking for love then you are really looking in the wrong place. But I have a sweet memory.

Seriously a little expensive, but a lovely girl and a good night. Can recommend a visit to secrets - there is some talent in there. Im not one to keep a secret. Realistically the in gogo or bar can change from one week to the next, the girls dont really have to take any shit from their bosses and will simply go and work somewhere else if they feel pissed off. Its the girls who pull in the punters, you are only going to stick around if you see girls that you like. As I understand its becoming a problem for the bar owners to hire the right girls. The good lookers dont last long due to the increasing number of sponsors and such like.

Yim was worth every baht. Perhaps I could have got away with 1500 with some perseverance, but I would have felt a little mean. With the bar fine it was a wee bit expensive, but swings and roundabouts. I cannot do this every night. I think I could have agreed with her to stay with me for 1000 baht a day, but I can survive on one nights affection here and there. I like them too much, so cute and happy all the time.

But with the rough comes the smooth, so need to get this across too. It helps to lower ones expectations when they are not met.

I am on a budget. It was a one off, which I can afford to do. Yesterday I spent maximum 1500b - swings and roundabouts. I had to have the girl she was the best iv seen in a long time. And every bit as cute with it. A very memorable night. The Gogo I went in before it was an 800b bar fine. Face it guys with all these new buildings going on etc, prices are going up up and away!
